Careers and recruitment research in government

Hi everyone,

I'm currently doing research into careers websites and what motivates people to apply for roles in government.

I'm keen to know if there's existing research about this.

Can you share any research into:

  • what motivates people to apply for a job in government?
  • what makes a job appealing?
  • what are people's experiences of applying for a job in government?

I'll use this as we enhance the experience of our current platforms including Careers Victoria, the Jobs and Skills Exchange and Join a Public Board.
