Hi everyone
I am the Manager of Policy, Evaluation, Governance and Strategy (PEGS) at the Digital and Analytics Service (DaAS) - aka the artists formerly known as VCDI (the Victorian Centre for Data Insights).
We are a cost-recovery shared-service provider for all of the Victorian Public Sector - a kind of in-house consultancy service. Our mission is to strengthen evidence-based policy and practice by transforming the way government uses data. We support data and digital capability uplift and provide agencies and business units with an injection of capability, advice, technical expertise or service in digital, data and evaluation projects, as required to suit our clients' needs.
I am looking for a VPS5 Policy and Projects Officer for a six-month secondment to work on a variety of projects. Examples include developing a digital and data strategy, assessing the rollout of digital and data projects, and advising on policy considerations for digital and data projects.
- A technical digital or data background is not required, though proficiency in Excel and experience working on data-related policy or projects would be helpful.
- Exceptional policy, synthesis, writing and collaboration skills are essential.
